Tomato "Märchenwald"

The complex tomato: Strong growing plant, blight resistant, outdoor tomato. Also suitable for the greenhouse or pot culture. 15-20 litre pot is perfect. The leaves are black when the plant is young, but turn dark green with partly black spots over time. Due to the long distance between the panicles (internode distance), the plant quickly grows very large. However, it is robust.
The fruits have a normal salad tomato size. Black above, green colouring below. Pale green. You can't see when they are ripe! So only for tomato lovers! The taste is incredible. Very intense when harvested early. Prominent acidity with tomato aromas and fine sweetness. When fully ripe, it becomes sweet and creamy with a full aroma and an exotic note.
